Job Summary
The National Accounts Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that strengthen MAX USA CORP.’s presence across national accounts. This role serves as the primary liaison for assigned accounts, ensuring effective communication, program implementation, and achievement of sales goals. The ideal candidate will bring experience in managing relationships with national hardware, rental, and home improvement accounts, while driving growth through strategic planning, promotions, and new channel development.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned national accounts (Homecenters, Catalog, Rental, and Online Dealers).
- Develop and implement national account strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Manage data needs, product listings, and promotional programs for national account websites.
- Coordinate trade show schedules, booth strategies, and promotional activities.
- Execute sales plans and monitor progress through regular reporting.
- Identify and pursue new distributors and channel opportunities.
- Travel to meet with accounts and attend regional/national trade shows.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve past-due accounts and support engineering research initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all MAX USA CORP. company policies and procedures.
- Provide timely reports, including sales updates, expense reports, show recaps, and dealer visit confirmations.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience & Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.com.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid work ethic.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing sales plans.
- Prior experience with national hardware accounts (Ace Hardware, True Value, Do It Best, Orgill, etc.), as well as channels including Electrical, Plumbing, Rental, and Home Centers, preferred.
- Other: Prior trade show experience strongly desired.
- Key Competencies: Strong relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills with proven National Account experience.
Physical Requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively for account meetings and trade shows.
- Ability to participate in trade show set-up and dismantling as needed.
