Job Summary
The National Accounts Sales Executive supports, implements, and helps develop national account strategies in partnership with the National Accounts Manager. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, managing account data, coordinating trade show activity, and supporting key national account initiatives while ensuring alignment with MAX USA programs and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of sales strategies for national accounts
Develop and implement annual and ongoing sales plans for assigned national accounts
Analyze, track, and report national account performance, including:
Monthly sales progress
Dealer development metrics
Bonus and incentive goal tracking
Coordinate national account dealer trade shows, including:
Submission of booth contracts as approved by the National Accounts Manager and Senior Vice President of Sales
Managing show logistics and deadlines, including badges, booth service manuals, shipping coordination, hotel reservations, pre- and post-show mailings, and customer order forms
Collaborating with the National Accounts Manager to develop and execute booth strategies
Ensure MAX products are accurately listed on national account websites as needed
Manage and maintain all data requirements for national accounts
Identify and research potential new distributors within assigned territory as needed
Develop, coordinate, and implement promotional programs with national accounts in compliance with MAX distribution programs and policies
Travel as needed to meet with national account customers
Attend national and regional trade shows
Complete special projects as assigned
Submit required reports in a timely manner, including:
Account analysis
Monthly sales and customer reports
Sales plan progress reports
Expense reports
Trade show reports
Dealer visit reports
Account confirmations and sales plans
Partner with the Office Manager to assist in collecting past-due accounts
Implement MAX programs with national accounts, including MMAPP, 100 PSI, Powerlite, Gas, Concrete, and other programs as needed
Ensure compliance with all MAX USA policies and regulations
Support engineering research and product development efforts as requested
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Experience & Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Solid work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities
Prior trade show and account management experience with National Hardware accounts (Ace Hardware, True Value, Do It Best, Orgill, etc.) is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success navigating Catalog Operations and major Online Retail platforms.
Comprehensive National Account experience, including Home Centers, Hardware Co-ops, Rental Centers, and specialized distribution (Roofing, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Supply).

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 commensurate with location and experience. + Bonus
